Customer Reviews
My husband and I purchased this case before our trip to Florida and it was well worth it! The camera was well protected from the sand and water! The pictures taken on our snorkle trip in the key were amazing. I would recommend this case to anyone going to the beach, pool or who have children. I am very excited about summer with my waterproof case!
I bought this Aquapac because my husband and I spend our time whitewater rafting and at the beach as much as possible. I had read reviews where this pac has been known to leak when submerged but I wanted it for protection from splashing and from sand and thought it would be perfect for us. We have a Canon SLR. I do not add lenses to this so the Aquapac housing for the lens is much too long and falls in the front of the viewfinder. The buttons are VERY difficult to access through the plastic of the Aquapac. So why don't I just return it? Well, I'm not especially camera clever so trying to figure this out took over 30 days. I contacted my son and another friend who knows lots about cameras to get some professional advice because I really wanted this thing to work for us. When I gave up I contacted Amazon who gave me no assistance other than to send me to Prime Scuba. Prime Scuba told me that after 30 days they would not honor their return policy. This 30 day return policy is not mentioned in their ad or in my final receipt of purchase. I spoke with 2 supervisors at Prime Scuba and waited 20 minutes on hold for someone higher up named Ivan whom my person on the phone told me was on a very important call and would call me. That was 3 days ago. If you are still interested in buying an Aquapac there are probably plenty of disgruntled sellers on ebay that will give you a great deal. Or, you can buy a lifetime supply of ziploc bags for less money.
